The Local Immigration Partnership in partnership with the Economic Development Office is organizing 3 Employers Breakfasts (see below), in May and June to increase local employer awareness of the benefits of hiring international talent, improve employer understanding of the pathways to filling skilled vacancies, and provide them with the appropriate resources and strategies to retain global talent.
The Breakfasts will feature 2 key note speakers. Steve Owen, Employer Liaison Officer with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), and Evelina Silveira, President and Principal Consultant for Diversity at Work a 4-time award-winning business focused on creating “inclusive workplaces and diverse customer bases”.
