Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) Career Training Programs -- 

This CanSIA webpage provides a list of organizations that offer training in renewale energy. 

Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) Training Courses -- 

The ESA offers electrical safety and technical training based on the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. ESA’s training courses are specifically designed to offer practical guidance and clarification on electrical safety principles, safe work practices, and the implementation of complex Codes, standards and guidelines. One course offering is specifically for Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. 

Canadian Green Building Council LEED Credentials --

Canadian Institute for Energy Training (CIET) 

The Canadian Institute for Energy Training (CIET) offers, since 1996, a wide range of sustainable energy training programs across Canada. It is specialized in high-quality energy management and energy efficiency training and certification programs.

Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance (CEEA) --

Whether you’re just beginning your career, thinking of making a change or simply want to upgrade your skills CEEA has created a great tool to explore your options. CEEA’s EE Education Tool has brought together Canadian institutions from coast-to-coast-to-coast offering energy efficiency-focussed courses, programs, certificates, diplomas and degrees.

Solar Energy International (SEI) Online Campus --

Solar Energy International has been providing online solar training and in-person workshops to students from around the world. For over 10 years SEI has been offering distance and online solar training opportunities for our students. The SEI Online Campus provides anywhere / anytime access to our world-class curriculum and highly trained instructors.

Canadian Solar Institute (CSI) Solar PV Training --

CSI currently offers a 5-Day Solar PV Design and Installation Workshop. Its curriculum has been designed from the ground up to address both the Ontario FIT program and off-grid power generation. All courses teach students to design and install systems that are Canadian Electrical Code compliant. The CSI workshops are both comprehensive and thorough. The modules will walk you through the basics of energy through to the complexities of solar PV systems and their design and installation. The workshops are intended to educate the beginner as well as the seasoned electrician.
