Wind Energy Summit

What is the Wind Energy Summit?

The Wind Energy Summit is a one-day forum that will see leading experts from Europe and Canada share their expertise on wind energy.

Why is the Summit Important?

Technological developments over the past decade have made wind turbines an attractive source for sustainable energy production. Additionally, recent changes to provincial and federal policies have stimulated interest among businesses, the agricultural community and individual home owners. However, many political, economic and environmental questions and concerns remain. This summit will help answer and address those questions and concerns.

Who Should Attend?

Business owners, farmers, public officials, the general public. In short, anyone who has an interest in learning more about the potential opportunities of wind energy generation for small- to medium-sized communities will find the Summit valuable.

Who is Speaking?

Experts and leaders from Ontario, Canada, Denmark and the Netherlands will discuss and examine successful wind power applications both domestically and internationally. Please see the agenda for a full listing of distinguished speakers.

What will be Discussed?
