The three Councils YNOT ATNET (AT NET is an acronym for Adjala Tosorontio, New Tecumseth and Essa), Bradford West Gwillimbury, and Innisfil are all up and going with over 85 members. The focus of these Councils for this year include: enhanced environmental sustainability; creating political equality; enhancing and supporting social opportunities; and improving access through rural transportation strategies.
The YNOT web site was launched in May 2005 and is in the process of being redesigned. A business plan was developed and a corporate calling program implemented. To date there are three major corporate partners: Honda Canada, F&P Manufacturing and CIBC. Additionally 17 businesses have contributed in-kind donations. |
