Goals:

Disburse loans to businesses in South Simcoe that are unable to procure funds from traditional sources.

The South Simcoe Investment Review Committee has been actively reviewing South Simcoe loan applications. Industry Canada has provided $1,100,000 in capital. As of August 1, 2007, $1,261,449 had been advanced to businesses in South Simcoe with an additional $30,156 pending advancement. To date $3,381,309 has been leveraged from the owners and other traditional financial services for South Simcoe businesses due to the business counselling and investment loans provided. In 2007, 54 full time and 57 part-time jobs have been created or maintained.
