Provide support and experiences for youth in hands-on entrepreneurism; developing a business youth network and resources; and accessing community resources.

In-school Youth Entrepreneurship Status

Ongoing liaison with all South Simcoe high schools (public & private) and the Adult Learning Centre to offer support, tools, and resources for their entrepreneurship programs. In 2009, there have been 3 youth entrepreneurship sessions and 51 individual business counselling meetings with youth entrepreneurs.

Support is provided to the Greater Barrie Business Enterprise Centre in the marketing of the Province of Ontario’s programs for youth entrepreneurship.
