| Goals: | A pool of skilled experts will provide both personalized and group capacity development at no cost to businesses located within the SCCDC area in a wide range of sectors and disciplines. This support will provide immediate employment for approximately 50 experts in identified fields and assist approximately 200 rural businesses with the critical capacity building identified to grow their ventures. The skills and capacity development initiative will not only provide immediate jobs , but also, based on our extensive CFDC experience, jobs will be saved that might otherwise have been lost due to business failure. | |
| Status: | Project start date: December 1 By December 31, 2009 fourteen loan client businesses had accessed forty-four hours of consulting and had received additional tools and resources. | |
