Municipalities of Adjala-Tosorontio, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Essa, Innisfil, and New Tecumseth; International Trade Canada, Community Investment Support Program (CISP), and Nottawasaga Futures |
| Objective: |
|
Representation on the committee includes three elected or appointed representatives from each participating municipality and Nottawasaga Futures. The committee’s objective is to work in a cooperative spirit, for the purposes of attracting industry to the general area. The municipalities recognize that the location of an industry in any of the participating municipalities would bring extended benefits to all of the municipalities in terms of employment, locality recognition, expansion of services, and fostering positive economic development throughout the area. Further, the committee realizes that a regional, coordinated, efficient plan would provide access to funding that would normally not be available to an individual municipality. |
