Goal:
To enhance the provision of telephone, postal and internetservices to eliminate confusion and barriers.
Action Items:
Develop a concerted lobbying campaign to demand Canada Postmake the changes necessary to accommodate growth.
Work with Canada Post to get one postal address forresidences/businesses within Township.
Get the support of residents and the municipality, to officiallyask Bell Canada to review and change the area code structure.
Work with Bell Canada to extend the local service area andeliminate long-distance charges within the Township.
Establish a wireless facility/cooperative to assist withconnectivity for businesses and residences.
Upgrade the telecommunications network, including telephonelines, cable, satellite and cellular towers.
